Pop in to Joan Clancy Gallery to celebrate Oíche Chultúir in the Waterford Gaeltacht
Joan Clancy Gallery in Mweelahorna, Ring, in the Waterford Gaeltacht will be open from 5 - 9pm on Culture Night -Oíche Chultúir Friday September 16th.
"Enjoy live music by young local traditional supremos Nuadán at 7.30pm and will serve beverages and canapés in celebration of Oíche Chultúir" says Joan.
"We are showcasing works by Damaris Lysaght, Ciara Gormley, Blawnin Clancy, Rayleen Clancy, Noeleen Crossan, Katarzyna Gajewska, Cathy Bacon, Sinead Ní Chionaola,
Caoimhghin Ó Croidheain and others. Everybody is welcome to pop in to this free event." she adds.
Some of the other local free attractions for Oíche Chultúir include a Ceilí in Halla Pobail na Rinne from 7.30 -9pm with music by Mary Rafferty, Dónal Clancy &
Caoimhín Ó Fearghail and fear an tí Mícheál Ó Drisleáin.
A seissiun will kick off at 10pm in John Paul's in Old Parish with Ciarán Ó Gealbháin & Cairde. Mooney's Pub are serving delicious pizza until late.
