Raphael Llewellyn recently graduated from Crawford College of Art & Design with an Honours Degree in 2011 and was awarded the Cork Arts Society Student of the Year 2011, the OPW Purchase Prize 2011 and the CIT Painting Bursary 2011 in recognition of her outstanding talent.

My work is a meditation on the transient use of army training grounds. With-out working directly from the landscape I reconstruct history and nature to suit my own vision. "We see nothing until we truly understand it." John Constable.

Her exhibitions include the Fledglings Group Show of Degree Students CCAD in The Lavit Gallery Cork 2010. Her work forms part of the OPW and CIT collections.
