Martin Stone born in 1963 in Wales, has been living in Ireland since 2004.

"I am influenced by a diverse range of artists such as Turner, the Impressionists as well as the American expressionist painters, realist painters and the Euston Road School of the 1940's and 1950's. In a world of racket and clamour my work strives to show the quiet, still moments that speak to us all.

"I have a fascination for light and value the importance of passion, intuition and spontaneity, which I temper with discipline".

Awarded a Master Degree by Chelsea College of Arts (1993), he graduated from from Birmingham College of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1988. He exhibits in Greenlane Gallery Paris & Dingle, Lavit, Private Collectors Gallery and other prestigious venues; his work forms part of OPW, Wella Ireland, UL Medical School and other civic, corporate and private collections in Ireland, Holland, UK, US, Australia.
