Kate Kos

Kate Kos has lived in Ireland since 2004 and is mostly inspired by the landscape and vegetation of North Co Wexford where she now makes her home. An artist with a sublime touch for clean and fresh colours, her studies at Silesian University of Technology in Poland, where she read Architecture & Urban Planning no doubt have a subtle influence on her work.

Kate has won many painting awards including First Prize in Dublin Plein Air Painting Festival in 2017 and Silver in Wexford's Art in the Open Festival in 2015, where she was up against some of the best outdoor painters from around the globe in these competitions.

Her solo shows include Waterside in the Pigyard Gallery, Wexford (2017); Seabreeze (2017) and Serenity (2016) in The Gaslamp Gallery, Gorey; Twenty14 (2014) in the Tate Guerin Gallery, Gorey. She is featured in From Land & Sea Ón Talamh & Ón bhFarraige April 2018 group show in Joan Clancy Gallery.
