John Cullinan
John Cullinan graduated with Honours from Limerick School of Art under the guidance of Jack Donovan. After teaching in LSA for two years, he studied under American artist Paul Brooks and Michael Dempsey. The eight years he spent in West Clare has had a lasting effect on his appreciation and love of landscape and nature.
John Cullinan is constantly exploring the duality of the brush and the paint in order to create textures, shapes and combinations of colour. He has participated in group shows in Adams and the James Gallery Dublin, Kenny Gallery Galway, Lee Gallery Cork, Excel Centre Tipperary, Old Market House Dungarvan, Joan Clancy Gallery, etc. Listed in Whyte's Buyer's Guide to Irish Art his work hangs in many civic, corporate and important private collections.
