Eilis O'Toole
Eilis O'Toole graduated with a BA in Fine Art (Honours) from National College of Art in 1999. She says "In my work I aim to capture the moments in time created by the movement of the natural
phenomena which occur in nature. The diffusion of light through mist and fog creates an eerie quietness yet also envelopes one with a mildly hypnotic sense of stillness and peace."
Her solo exhibitions include The Hallward Gallery Dublin 07, and the Narrow Space Gallery Clonmel 05. She was awarded a Residency at SIM, Reykjavik, Iceland in 2008, and a Waterford Enterprise
Board Bursary in 07. Her work is included in important private and public collections including AXA Insurance and the OPW. She regularly exhibits in Joan Clancy Gallery.
