Anne-Marie Kirby graduated with a Distinction in BA (Honours) in Fine Art at CIT Crawford College of Art & Design, 2009.  "My work" she explains in her Artist Statement, "oscillates between real and imaginary spaces, representational and abstract mark-making, and aspects of the natural and artificial world. I am dealing with how an individual views an environment and then formulates this information into something new. I am using a pictorial analogy to visualize the complexity of thought process. By incorporating added structures, materials and forms, a space within a space is created". Her work forms part of the CIT Collection.
