Organised by Waterford County Council (WCC) and Comhlucht Forbartha na nDéise, following an address by Waterford County Mayor Billy Kyne, the awards were presented by Mícheál Ó Drisleain Bainisteoir Forbartha Comhlucht Forbartha na dDéise Teo., assisted by Máire Seo Breathnach, Oifigeach Forbartha Gaeilge Comhairle Contae Phort Láirge (WCC).

The beautiful summer weather and splendid panorama of Dungarvan Bay against the backdrop of the Comeragh Mountains viewed from the balcony complemented the fine work hanging on the walls of Joan Clancy Gallery and the refreshments and tasty finger food enjoyed by all the prize winners, sponsors and former prize winners present.
