Newfoundland Group Visits Joan Clancy Gallery
Press Release May 2005
A group of thirty people with Newfoundland Ireland Festival of the Sea visited Joan Clancy Gallery in the Ring Gaeltacht recently. With the backdrop of Dungarvan Bay, much of the coastline of County Waterford and the Comeragh and Knockmealdown Mountains in the background, the group were as impressed with the spectacular scenery as with the paintings hanging on the walls. With works by Mulcahy, Flannery, Ni Chionaola, Lysaght, Clancy, Ni Chionnfaolaidh, Clancy, O'Toole, O'Mullane and others, the Newfoundlanders said that it was a unique experience for them.
